Wipe with a hard wrung cloth
The armchair is one of the most important pieces of furniture in the home. It enjoys a special status in Danish furniture design. It is also a place where we can unwind and recharge. When the famous architect Poul Volther created the Jorna armchair, he was thinking of his wife – hence the name. Jorna Volther liked to relax with her knitting and long knitting needles – so he also made space for them. Now, just as then, there is space for knitting, a laptop or an iPad in the comfortable armchair. The seat and backrest are available in traditional plain variants such as dark grey, plum, navy blue and dark green. However, the chair also comes in more unconventional variants from Danish Art Weaving – in a blue with white stripes, and in the blue and red check ‘horse blanket’, which is also seen on Borge Mogensen’s sofas.
