In 1968, he designed the PIET HEIN counter stool, where he took his starting point in his famous superellipse shape, which he used in the design of both the seat and back attached to an elegant steel frame. In addition to being an incredibly beautiful couner stool, you also get a light and graphic piece of furniture that is in visual balance with the high seating comfort and not least freedom of movement.
