Abachus is a high cocktail table with a little extra. It has six arms which give you something to lean on when standing. These provide you with the minimum comfort you need when honouring Bacchus, the god of wine, with your friends. The high cocktail table is also available with a small or large integrated ashtray. It is the perfect way to discourage people from leaving cigarette ends on your floor.

The ashtrays (2 litre and 6 litre) are optional and mainly intended for use at pubs, restaurants, office buildings, exhibition centres, or public spaces requiring a smoking area.

Iroko:
Iroko is an African species of tropical hardwood. The high quality allows Extremis to make wide table top segments out of one piece of wood. The colour and characteristics of the wood are similar to teak.

Hellwood:
Extremis Hellwood has been treated with unique preservation that gives the fibres greater internal stability and increases their resistance to rotting. It's also resistant to UV rays, rain and acid rain, fluctuating humidity levels, frost, extreme heat, etc. Hellwood belongs in Durability Class I. An attractive side-effect of the process is the wood's dark colouring.

Choose Wisely
Just like other types of wood, Iroko and Hellwood will gradually become rougher and start to turn grey as a consequence of exposure to the sun and rain. Small cracks and crevices can also appear as part of this process. We strongly advise everyone to treat the furniture with our Wood Protector. This 100% natural oil controls the moisture level within the wood, which makes the planks stay stable for longer, and the layer of oil also helps to prevent spilled liquids from being absorbed, so that stains tend to stay superficial. It is best to repeat this treatment at regular intervals.
