The Stammplatz Chair was designed to complement Quodes' Stammtisch Table. The design is inspired by the traditional wooden hand-made chairs used in the Swiss Alps.

The same subtle detail from the Stammtisch is visible in the chair's seat. The edge is not simply vertical but changes all around, therefore lets the seat and backrest meet in a very direct way. The angle of the seat's edge provides a perfectly comfortable angle for the backrest. The simple wooden construction brings extra warmth and comfort to the setting around the Stammtisch Table.
